Jeremy Bianco is an emerging Australian fine artist and established designer based in Vicenza, Italy.
My artistic journey is a reflection of my evolution from the digital world of 3D animation to the tangible realm of painting. After years in broadcast advertising, I yearned for a creative outlet that endured beyond fleeting moments on screens. Painting became my creative sanctuary during a hiatus from design, offering the permanence and personal expression I craved.
Initially, my artistic path was illuminated by the allure of Mad Men era advertising and the cinematic glamour of movie posters from the 1950s and 60s, often featuring icons like Elizabeth Taylor. These early explorations unfolded in acrylics.
In 2020, I transitioned to oils, marking a pivotal juncture in my journey. It was during this phase that I became enamored with the starlets of the Golden Age of Hollywood. Icons like Audrey Hepburn graced my canvases, their timeless beauty and grace capturing my imagination.
My artistic evolution continued when I discovered the profound influence of renowned photographer Peter Lindbergh. His unretouched, emotionally resonant style ignited a desire to broaden my artistic scope. I ventured into painting contemporary portraits, dancers and life-size models, expanding my canvas to encapsulate the human form's beauty and character.
In 2019, during an extended sojourn in Italy, my art transformed from a cherished hobby into a dedicated pursuit. The experience was a turning point, crystallizing my commitment to making art more than just a pastime. In August 2022, I made the exciting move to northern Italy, where I have continued to immerse myself in the art world, refining my craft, and drawing inspiration from my new surroundings.
Reflecting on my recent participation in the 2024 Art3F Paris Salon international d'art contemporain, I was thrilled to have had the opportunity to showcase my work alongside talented artists from Europe to Japan. This marked a significant milestone in my professional art journey. As I continue to explore, create, and evolve, I eagerly anticipate sharing my work with audiences across the globe. In this vein, I am excited to announce my upcoming exhibition of 'The Birth of Venus' with MONAT Gallery in Madrid later this year. Dates for the exhibition will be announced soon, and I am looking forward to the opportunity to engage with the vibrant art scene in Madrid. Additionally, I am proud to have recently participated in the 'Marea' exhibition at MONAT Gallery in Madrid, which took place from February 6th to 20th, and the prestigious (un)fair Milano, where I had the privilege of exhibiting alongside esteemed artists from around the world. These experiences have not only expanded the reach of my art but have also provided invaluable opportunities to connect with diverse audiences and fellow creatives.
